First Aid Situation Training?
So i signed up for my university student emergency response team, and made the first couple cuts. But now we have situation training where we have to explain the reactions to different circumstances, ie someone trapped in a car after a crash, what do you do.
Does anyone know a website or resource i could use that could maybe list some samples just to get me in the right track
I would be sooooooooo grateful, thanks in advance
How can I add customized news feeds on “singapore diabetes” to a site? Please advise.Thanks.?
Question by Singapore Diabetes: How can I add customized news feeds on “singapore diabetes” to a site? Please advise.Thanks.?
I have used google alerts to find news relating to “singapore diabetes” but would like to be able to automatically display the results on my website for others to see instead of gettiing it through email.
Is there any service that can do this?
Would there be any copyrite issues I should worry about?
Appreciate any advise.
Thanks

GoogleAlert is a product that will provide an RSS feed for your Google Alerts.
Feedster, IceRocket, Pubsub, and Technorati provide similar services for blogs, news, or a combination thereof.
You can then use something like FeedJumbler which can combine these feeds and generate something that can be copy and pasted right into your site.
As far as copyright, redistribution of links and headlines usually fall under fair use, especially because they point back to the original source. Displaying the headlines shouldn’t be a problem.
I’ve included links to all the services mentioned in the sources below.

Jennifer Jones Austin needs a bone marrow transplant
Jennifer, 41, is suffering from leukemia and without a bone marrow transplant her chances of survival are very little. Jennifer is most likely to find a donor within the African American community. There are 8 million people registered in the Be The Match Registry, but only 500,00 of them are African Americans or Black. Because tissue types are inherited, patients have a better chance of matching someone of their own race or ethnicity. You might be a match for Jennifer or many other patients in great need of a marrow transplant. Please, join the Be The Match Marrow Registry. A simple cheek swab is all that is needed to determine if you can save a life. To learn more, visit www.icla.org

How long does alcoholic beverages stay in your system? Urine? Blood?
A group of friends are having a discussion on this question, as one of the friends drank alcohol, not realizing it (thought it was fruit punch) and is now very scared he may get into trouble as he is on random urine and blood tests for alcohol. In addition, he takes a medication that can have severe reactions if mixed with alcohol. He’s now afraid to take the medication and we have him very scared. Can any body help???

How can red blood cells have genes if they have no DNA?
Question by Dave the Wiseman: How can red blood cells have genes if they have no DNA?
In the book ‘Ultra-Prevention’, it states that red blood cells do not contain DNA. But a few pages later it says “researchers found they could change the genetic expression of DNA in red blood cells. They discovered that the drug hydroxyurea can turn on dormant genes in red blood cells…” So you can see the paradox this poses, hence my question.
