What can cause a fasting blood sugar of only 63, if nothing has been found to be wrong w/you medically?

This is after 12 hours of fasting. I am 35 years old and slightly overweight (need to lose 20 pounds and working on it). There is no history of diabetes on either side of my family. I take Dilantin 100 mg twice daily; Synthroid 0.25 mg daily; and Nexium 40 mg daily. One thing, though: me and my dad’s side of the family love to eat candy such as Red Hots and Bit-O-Honey. I am on Weight Watchers, but I work such candy in every single day. Maybe my pancreas produces too much insulin in response to eating sweets? Every other medical problem has been ruled out. Also, recently, I had a random blood sugar done right after I ate pancakes with syrup and orange juice, and my blood sugar was only in the lower 90s.

can a cold cause low white blood cell count?

I went to the doctor because I had a cold for the 6th time this year. Blood tests showed I had low white blood cell count and low iron levels. He wasn’t concerned and said that these results were cased by my cold and didn’t think that it needed any further investigation. I still don’t know why I keep getting colds and I am wondering if i should get a second opinion.

what can cause a reoccurring blood clot in Calf?

I got a Blood clot from surgery back in April i went through treatment and I;m off blood thinners now. It’s been a Month so far. I missed my period this month and took a test it was positive. I have been experiencing severe calf pain ever since and I’ve been applying heat and taking pain killers. Could this be a blood clot? Or just pain from scar tissue in my blood vessel?

Can a rough dentist cause prolonged pain after multiple fillings or is it abscessed?

Okay, here is the deal. I found out AFTER the fact that the dentist I selected for my dental work is known as the “butcher”. Yeah. GREAT. Well, he did two metal and two composite fillings on my upper back teeth about 2 weeks ago; the whole he is basically telling me how crappy composite fillings are and how they will cause my teeth to become abscessed. About a week ago that area starts to hurt. I would like to believe that the nerves are just angry and that none of the teeth of abscessed.

My symptoms, in the beginning, just a terrible sensitivity to cold, hot, or food particles in one of the teeth. Now, the pain has shifted to another tooth and I feel a very dull ache, kinda of like pressure. I do not have a fever, there is no bubble, puss, or blood on my gums anywhere and no swelling. A few people have told me they do not believe it is abscessed because I would no for sure due to the pain if it was.

I have seen some really knowledgeable people on here, dental assistants and actual dentists so I thought I would get some opinions. I do have the antimicrobial mouthwash I have been using for two days, and a prescription for antibiotics, just in case. I am wondering if his rough hand while doing the work could have caused more nerve discomfort while healing. I have read it could last for several months. Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Can depression cause high blood pressure?

I’ve had depression for several years (been treated with medications), but I’ve noticed that whenever I’m feeling more depressed, my blood pressure goes up. Right now I’m 15 weeks pregnant and have been feeling pretty depressed recently. The last couple times I’ve been to my obstetrician, my blood pressure has been way up. The doctor is concerned about my BP since I’m pregnant. I was just wondering if depression can lead to high blood pressure. Thanks.

blood that is bright pink, neon pink, what could cause this?

young puppy, bright neon pink blood, even when eating and drinking good. but looks like it does not feel good. VET can not find anything wrong with puppy, starts with loose stools, treat for that, take back to vet he gives fluids. when he pulls the needle out.. the blood is neon pink check the gums often, they always look healthy pink not neon pink..puppy doing okay, eating drinking moving around, then bam 2 days later. puppy is dead. gums are white tongue is pasty white, on dissection, inside of heart is bright neon pink, no other blood anywhere. spleen is green, lower gut has *spider veins* on outside walls NO evidence of worms or parasites (under microscope) . (i have pictures or organs and gut and bright neon pink blood)
puppy was outside with its mom. in a kennel with dog house. now another litter mate is sick, the same symptoms, they dive into liver broth, but not interested in eating anything else. last trip to vet, given A/D in cans. dives into that, solid poops, but still has the bright neon pink blood. Vet showed me how to give fluids sub Q, which is just under the skin, but when i pull the needle out..i am getting the neon pink blood a bright magenta.

What could be the cause of my high blood pressure?

I’m 14. I just went to the doctor and she says my blood pressure is high. She also said my weight was perfect. I exercise constantly and eat well enough.

Just in case it makes any difference, I’ve been taking Aleve for back pain for the past week or so. And high blood pressure is common on my dad’s side of the family. But would it really be starting already?

Can these meds cause high blood pressure?

My boyfriend just had his annual physical yesterday and the doc told him he has high blood pressure. He has been taking a lot of allergy/sinus medicines to get rid of his sinus infection. He has taken Sudafed, Dayquil, Excedrin Migraine (for headaches), zinc tablets, and Vitamin C. Can any of this stuff cause high blood pressure?
