What are some possible causes for low white blood cell count in cats?

My cat had her yearly vaccinations and the blood work came back low white blood cell count. She’s an INDOOR cat, always up to date on her shots, and has never been sick. My vet did blood work to check for leukemia, which came back negative. She has absolutely NO symptoms, hasn’t lost any weight, and eats & drinks fine. She’s 8 yrs old & spayed. After the first bloodwork, my vet put her on clavamox for 10 days which raised the count, but now that she’s off clavamox, the count has fallen. Any info. or input?

Is it possible to develop allergies from a blood transfusion?

I had a blood transfusion when I was 20. Prior to the transfusion I never had a reaction with medications or allergies of any kind. About a month after the transfusion I had a severe reaction to penicillin. The following spring I began to develop allergies. It’s the only thing I can think of that would trigger a sudden onslaught, although I’ve heard that you can develop allergies as you age. So I’m wondering if I could have picked something up from the blood I recieved?

My dad is going to go get his blood pressure checked for his job, is it possible for him to get fired for having too high of a blood pressure? He is a professional truck driver.

Would a doctor give you a blood transfusion (knowing your blood type) and not tell you your blood type? Would they just go ahead with it without giving you details? I know someone who says she had a blood transfusion but she doesn’t know her blood type, so I wanted to know if this was possible.

Is it possible that root planing and scaling damage your enamel?

I just did the root planing and scaling two days ago, now i feel the back of my molar is not as smooth as before (only one of them, the rest is fine). Why is that? Is it possible the enamel gets damaged during this procedure? I also see blood clot on the gum line of the molar, is it normal?

3. Is it true that they think a possible cure is bone marrow transplant for sickle cell?

Noticed a lump on Moony’s paw is it a blood blister or a Mast Cell tumor? The vet wants us to let it heal for a week to see.

I am almost 100% sure I am pregnant based on how I am feeling and have been feeling for the last week. However, today I took a urine at home test and it said I wasn’t pregnant. But, it may be a bit early to actually detect the horomone. I want to get a blood test seeing as how it should be more accurate and a little bit quicker, is this a good choice. And can you simply go to a hospital and ask for a blood test to test for pregnancy, because I do not go to a obgyn yet, and I don’t want to go unless I am sure I am pregnant. Thanks if you have any imput.
While I would go to my doctor I haven’t gone to the doctor in about a year, and my doctor is more of a child doctor, I am now 18…so just going to the doctor isn’t really going to work for me.

My friend said that sometimes whenever he is very busy especially when is trying to beat his work deadline he feels that an area at his lower head portion, at the left side, at the back & just about 1 – 2 inches above the uppermost portion of his neck feels very warm to a slight hot. He is wondering what could be the reason for that.

He is working also with computers and because he has double vision lens eyeglasses (upper one for nearsighted & lower one for reading) he is always tilting up his head for a better focus in his reading.

Now for about a month, he feels as if he has a stiff neck though not as painfull. He is afraid and thinking he has sort of brain blood clot although the doctor said it could only be due to fatigue and routine sleep head position.

Please give your medical comments. What could these be —blood clotting? Are the two cases related? What medication or therapy can possibly eliminate the symptom of feeling like a stiff neck?

Is it possible to find out your deceased relatives blood type?
